IES Exam 2014 eligibility, IES-ESE 2014 2015 Vacancy

• The reservations of SC/ST, OBC and PH categories will be fixed as per Government norms.


• Candidates should be of Citizen of India or a subject of Nepal, Bhutan, Tibetan refugee or persons migrated to India with the intention of permanent settlement in India are eligible to apply.


• The age limit for IES 2014 exam is that the candidate should be between 21 to 30 years as on 01.01.2012. However the upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC and 5 years for Ex-Servicemen. To know detailed age relaxation, you can refer the official site.


• The minimum educational qualification required for IES 2014 exam is that the candidate must have acquired Graduation in Engineering from a recognized university or its equivalent qualification. Final year stendents can also apply for IES exam, but they need to provide the proof of passing the exam later at the time of IES exam 2014 results.
